Your Sun can't remember host-id, date, mac-address? Thats mostly a broken nvram - the integrated battery has reached the end of its life. You can either buy a new one, or fix it yourself [img].

~~. and so on can happen... - No Sun-Keyboard? Use ctrl-break (strg-pause) for openprom access.
- Typical serial console settings: 9600-8N1.
9600 baud, 8 data bits, no parity bit, 1 stop bit. - Netbooting can be done via dhcp/bootp+tftp+rarp.
